Collector Guide

Open Edition vs Limited Edition Prints

Open edition prints can be reproduced indefinitely, which keeps prices accessible but limits long-term collectible value.

Limited editions cap the print run at a fixed number, usually signed and numbered. A small run does not promise a higher resale price.

Neither is inherently better. Choose the art you want to live with, then check the paper, print quality, and edition details before you buy.

If you make art and want to sell prints, see How to Create an Open Edition Art Print.
